School Hours: The building will open at 7:50 am and students are not allowed in the building until that time. In order to keep your child safe, please do not drop them off earlier than is necessary as there is no one to supervise them. At 8:15 am, all students need to be in their classrooms for attendance and parents should be out of the building.
Late For School: It is important that students arrive to school on time. Students should be in their seats and ready promptly at 8:15 am. Students arriving late must present a note and report to the office to sign in.
Student Absences: If your child will be absent from school please be sure to call the school by 8:30 am. You may also call the night before the absence as the answering machine will accept your call anytime after office hours. Our phone number is 608-296-2141 EXT 2021 or 2022.
Messages To Students: Parents calling to get a message to their child should call the school office prior to 1:00 pm.
Lunch Reminders: All families are encouraged to apply for free/reduced meals anytime during the school year if your income changes. Money may be sent with one member of the family for the entire family. It is recommended that each family pay a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. Accounts are not based on a charge system, will be denied purchases if there is no money in the family account. When sending cash please send it in a labeled envelope with your child/s first and last name and enclosed. When paying by check, note your child's first and last name in the lower left-hand corner of the check. It is not necessary to put checks in an envelope.
End Of The Day: Children must be careful at the end of the day when going to your car or walking home. There are several cars waiting in the parking lot and on the street. We want children to be aware of cars that may be pulling out. We release walkers and car riders by door #8 (by the gym). We ask that parents park in the south or north parking lot to pick up your children. Thank you for your cooperation.
